We are a great opportunity for a talented, dynamic and forward thinking person to join our modular homes business as Operations Manager.

 

Starship Modular deliver ground breaking modular homes solutions across the UK and are one of only a handful of businesses that deliver off site homes using a unique panellised system. We work with Registered Providers, Local Authorities and private investors to deliver fantastic low and zero carbon homes driving energy and momentum into their housing strategy. 

 

We are looking for someone with a great personality that embraces our strong and dynamic team culture, wants to make a mark in the world and someone that will motivate people to deliver the very best standards.

 

The successful person will report directly to the Managing Director of our modular homes business and be responsible for the team at our manufacturing centres in Deeside and Wirral. 

 

You will need to have experience in managing a team in a production or construction environment, in working to quality systems to deliver consistently high quality manufactured products. You will also be required to work as part of the onsite installation team when delivering projects for our customers. 

 

Specific Responsibilities

·       Drive a high safety culture using our SafetyFirst initiatives 

·       Manage the daily functions of the manufacturing centres 

·       Working with suppliers to create dynamic partnerships

·       Day to day management, motivation or your team

·       Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed

·       Manage budget to align with goals of business

·       Deliver consistently high standards of productivity and quality 

 

Qualifications

·       previous years of experience in a similar role

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office

·       Strong organizational and communication skills

·       Strong ability to multitask

·       Comfort working with multiple groups within business
